All of us are Dead Yoon Chan-young as Lee Cheong-san in All of us are Dead Cr. Yang Hae-sung/Netflix © 2021 It’s been over a month since the release of All of Us Are Dead on Netflix, and fans have been patiently waiting for additional episodes to be added to the streamer. Unfortunately, we won’t see a continuation of the series as soon as March because All of Us Are Dead season 2 is not coming to Netflix this of Us Are Dead was released on Netflix on Jan. 28 and immediately became the show everyone was watching. It quickly skyrocketed up the streaming charts, and people couldn’t stop talking about how good the show was. Due to the success of the K-Drama Squid Game, viewers had high expectations for the zombie series. The show ended up exceeding expectations and became an instant story follows a group of students trapped in a high school while a zombie virus outbreak occurs. The students must band together to fight their way out of the zombie-infested school using whatever is in their reach. Critics and viewers have praised the series for its wonderful cast, exciting premise, and action-packed scenes. It’s highly addictive and is easily one of the best K-Dramas to watch right now. So it comes as no surprise that fans are wondering about a second we shared what we know about the possibility of an All of Us Are Dead season All of Us Are Dead canceled?Thankfully, Netflix has not axed the series. Honestly, I couldn’t see the streamer canceling All of Us Are Dead since it’s so popular with viewers. If anything, the series could just consist of one season. Korean dramas typically consist of only one season, so this wouldn’t be out of the ordinary. However, we’re still hoping for a second the streamer has not renewed the show either. We could be waiting a while for an announcement even though viewership numbers are likely high. It took four months for Squid Game to be renewed, and that show is Netflix’s most-watched series. Fans should remain hopeful because the show’s odds of returning for a second season are pretty high right Netflix chooses not to go through with a second installment; at least we know the story was wrapped up somewhat neatly in the first season. But at the same time, there is still more story to tell with an All of Us Are Dead season of Us Are Dead season 2 release updatesSince the zombie series hasn’t been renewed yet, it is hard to predict when the potential second season could come to Netflix. However, our best guess when All of Us Are Dead season 2 could land on Netflix is early 2023. We’re basing our prediction on when Netflix typically releases new seasons of its streamer usually releases new seasons of its original series a year apart. Since the first season of All of Us are Dead arrived on Netflix in January 2022, a year later would be January 2023. But production on the second season would have to start soon in order to make a January release. So a spring 2023 release seems more probable at the keep you posted on any new updates regarding All of Us Are Dead season 2. So stay tuned to Netflix Life!Episode9 of All of Us Are Dead starts on the roof with all the kids fighting off Gwi-Nam who has some freakish strength. Not only does he brush off wood blocks to the back of the head, he also contorts his body in such a way that he doesn’t even fall to several stiff punches. Nam-Ra’s strange infection kicks in again though and using the
All of Us Are Dead Netflix All of Us are Dead is Netflix’s big new Korean hit, the 1 series in almost 50 countries this past week, even if it hasn’t quite made it that high in the US, and may not, by the end of its run. If you’ve watched All of Us are Dead, you may be wondering about the release date for season 2. That’s…complicated. To start, it’s unclear if Netflix is definitely going to renew All of Us are Dead for season 2 in the first place. While yes, it is a big hit, I think there are a few different barriers standing in the way here, potentially. First, the source material, a WEBTOON comic, has ended. A future season would have to start writing from scratch, and given the fact that the core concept, teenagers escaping from a high school, is over by the time season 2 ends with spoilers, the high school in ruins, coming up with further ideas may be tougher than if there was still new source material to draw on. Second, while I don’t know the exact budget for All of Us are Dead, I am guessing it’s not on the cheap side given that massive amount of work and money it takes to create swarms of rabid zombies. Expensive shows have more to prove in order to secure renewal, and the question is not if All of Us are Dead is a hit, but if it’s a big enough hit for Netflix to give it further investment. All of Us Are Dead Credit Netflix I’ve also noticed that in post-season 1 here, I have not really seen anyone associated with the show talking about season 2 at this point. Usually you will hear actors or showrunners openly pitching ideas for season 2 of a series they want to keep going with. Archive 81, for instance, has been very clear about ideas for season 2 after its initial success here. If we’re using a show like Squid Game as a metric, Netflix did not even officially confirm season 2 was happening, despite being a massive blockbuster hit, until about four months after release. As for All of Us are Dead, it’s just a total void of information right now. All we have to go on is the original webtoon, which ended differently than the show spoilers follow. In the comic, Nam Ra actually has a somewhat happy ending, living with her friends at the end. There’s an open-ended bit where it looks like the virus has now spread to Japan. The show, however, has Nam Ra living in the wild with other intelligent half-zombies like her, and there are no teases about where the virus is spreading. I don’t imagine the second season of this Korean series would leap over and take place in Japan with a Japanese cast, and if it does exist, I’d guess there would be new adventures for the surviving characters we already know. Sorry there’s not more information to share about season 2 or a release date, but everyone is being unusually quiet about this project for now. Hopefully there will be more to discuss soon.
